"You are here because God wants you. And if you believe, He will equip you to do what He wants you to do." (Rita Eshun)
It is good to think so.
Just think you are here,
Not by chance but by God's choosing.
His hand formed you
And made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else - you are one of a kind.
You lack nothing that His grace can't give you.
He has allowed you to be here at this time in history
So as to fulfill His special purpose for this generation.

One of the greatest and most comforting truths is that when one door of opportunity closes, another opens. But often we look so long regretfully upon the closed door that we do not see the one that is open for us. The Israelites made a serious mistake. The Lord opened a door for their salvation and took them out of Egypt but they kept remembering Egypt than visualizing on the Promised Land. They never utilized the open door but concentrated on the closed and unfavorable one. They finally missed their target. We waste a lot of our time regretting of the closed doors at the expense of the open ones. Let us utilize open opportunities for the glory of God.

How is it with us, particularly you and me?

The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, it is when we use it for the things which matter least or which have no bearing for the meaningful future. Or to put it in another way, it when we do not really know the correct thing to do with our lives.
The prophet lamented that God says "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge," (Hos. 4:6)
